Our Approach to Outpatient Amputee Care
Continued outpatient therapy is sometimes necessary to help you become accustomed to your new prosthetic device. Our therapists will work with you using physical therapy and occupational therapy to help you gain confidence and independence with your prosthesis. We also provide education and training on how to properly maintain and care for your prosthesis.
Physical Medicine Consultation
After you complete your initial rehabilitation, you may need life-long counseling and care. Our physicians, who specialize in prosthetics and amputation care, can meet all ongoing amputation and prosthetic management needs.
