Our Approach to Treatment

As a new patient, you’ll be evaluated by our team of specialists to provide a neurological rehabilitation plan tailored to your needs. We implement one-on-one therapy or group therapy based on each individual’s needs. Social outings to local museums and other places of interest are also provided to improve community re-entry.

Most Day Neuro stays are about eight weeks. This varies from patient to patient and can last anywhere from a 2-week to a 16-week stay. After the initial evaluation, patients will participate in 5-6 hours of therapy a day, Monday through Friday.

What To Expect

A family member or caregiver will need to accompany you on the first day and stay with you throughout the orientation process. We will be with you every step of the way to answer any questions or concerns. Each member of your rehab team will then schedule a time to evaluate your needs and work with you on developing an individualized treatment plan. Beyond that, you can expect quality and compassionate care from every Baylor Scott & White Rehab employee. Our goal is to help you reach your rehabilitation goals.
