    Dr. Rita Hamilton, Chief Medical Officer, Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation (BSWIR) has been elected to the board of directors of the American Paraplegia Society (APS). She will help guide this national organization in advancing spinal cord medicine through education, advocacy research during her three consecutive two-year terms.

Corey Borner sustained a devastating spinal cord injury in a high school football game 12 years ago. Now 28, Corey recently earned his college degree and - thanks to his BSWIR team and advanced exoskeleton technology - walked across the stage to accept his diploma. “This is the biggest moment in my life!” he said.
