    Lea Goad, a recreational therapist at Baylor Scott & White Rehab - Dallas has been named as this year’s recipient of the Employee of the Year Community Service award, by the DFW Hospital Council Foundation. More than 700 attendees turned out to honor 135 nominees and 16 winners from a pool of 56 area hospitals.

    Ruth Hodge has a love for ballroom dancing. She's been doing it 2-3 times a week for the last twenty years. That is, until she had a stroke. Ruth thought she may never dance again, but a chance encounter with a Baylor Scott & White Rehab therapist gave her hope that she may one day be back on the dance floor.

    Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation has announced that it has formally changed its name to Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation effective Feb. 1, 2018. This change reflects the goal of Baylor Scott & White leadership to create continuity throughout the Baylor Scott & White Health system for patients, physicians and the community, as well as to solidify its brand.
