For the 5th consecutive year, Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation made the Dallas Business Journal’s (DBJ) list of "Best Places to Work in North Texas" moving up to #4 in the "Extra Large Company" category. The recognition was announced Thursday night by the DBJ at its annual awards celebration. This year’s event was held for the first time at the Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco. Independent research firm Quantum Workplace surveyed employees from each company, compiled data, tallied results and then matched the results against national standards to select the winners.
"It’s a tremendous honor to be chosen for this award for five straight years," said Fabian Polo, Baylor Rehab Market Executive. "Our staff continually go above and beyond each and every day to give the best of themselves to our patients, families and each other. It’s a great team oriented environment which is what makes us such a wonderful organization."
Best Places to Work showcases North Texas organizations in five different categories: Micro, Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large. More than 500 companies participated this year for the award with only 100 making the final cut. The awards ceremony then recognized the top organizations in each category. We were the top healthcare organization in the Extra Large category.
