About Deborah Hopps, RN, MPS, FACHE
Deborah is the CEO of Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Lakeway, formerly Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Lake Travis (VRHLT). She started as CEO at VRHLT in November of 2014 and continues as CEO following the June 2018 transition to Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation. Prior to Vibra, Deborah was the CEO of City View Rehabilitation Hospital, a 62 bed hospital with a pain clinic, home health agency and outpatient therapy clinics. She also worked as a Regional Vice President for Cornerstone Health Care’s Western Region covering Austin, Houston and Tucson and as VP for Small and Rural Hospital Finance for Red Capital Group. Deborah has also held positions as CEO of Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Administrator and Vice President of Operations for Brackenridge Hospital and CEO of Mercy Center for Health Services.
Deborah holds an MPS in Health Services Administration and a BSN in Nursing from State University of New York. She is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives. She serves her community as a board member of the Scared Heart Clinic and a member of the MHA Professional Advisory Committee of Health Science Center Texas A & M University.
