The Best Father's Day Gift
A motorcycle crash left Joshua Bennett with a traumatic brain injury, broken bones and internal injuries. After the crash, the prognosis of Joshua ever coming out of his coma wasn't good, but on Mother's Day he opened his eyes for the first time following the crash. After leaving the hospital, Joshua started rehabilitation at Baylor Scott & White Rehab – Fort Worth. After a few weeks of intensive physical, occupational and speech therapy, Joshua was able to regain movement in his right side and regain his memory and speech. By Father's Day, Joshua was able to discharge just in time to spend the weekend with his daughter and his own father.
