Amber Reed is the System Vice President, Home Strategy/Virtual Nursing for Baylor Scott & White Health. She leads in-home nursing services for those recovering from illness, surgery or managing a chronic condition or pain with a focus on integrating and advancing home-based care and virtual nursing services.

With a dynamic blend of healthcare management education and oncology nursing expertise, Amber has had progressive leadership roles as chief nursing officer and director of the Cancer Center at Baylor Scott & White Health. She is committed to inspiring teams to provide exceptional and compassionate care to patients throughout the care continuum and initiating innovation solutions in the landscape of virtual health care.

Amber earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing and an MBA in health care administration at American Sentinel University. She has also earned Oncology Certified Nurse and Nurse Executive Advanced certifications, underscoring her commitment to excellence in patient care and medical strategy.

Amber offers a unique perspective to the Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Board of Directors. When she was the chief nursing officer, Amber had a stroke while she was driving.
