Christopher Garrison, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Garrison specializes in neurological rehabilitation, spasticity management, general rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation and electrodiagnosis. 

Dr. Christopher Garrison is the medical director for Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Dallas where he is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the hospital. In addition, he provides care in the inpatient setting, outpatient physician clinic and participates in various hospital committees.

For more than 25 years, Dr. Garrison has pursued a diverse professional career, including teaching the next generation of physiatrists and promoting quality improvement in healthcare, all while serving complex patient populations. Previously, he was the outpatient program medical director for Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation and a staff physiatrist.

Dr. Garrison received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After graduating with honors, he pursued specialty training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. Several years after starting an academic career, he earned a Master of Business Administration to advance his skills in the operations of high-quality care.
