Dr. Sikka specializes in spinal cord injury rehabilitation.

Dr. Seema Sikka specializes in the care of individuals with spinal cord injury and disorders. Dr. Sikka is board certified currently in physical medicine and rehabilitation, spinal cord injury medicine, and brain injury medicine. Dr. Sikka is also involved in clinical research and published many articles as well as involved in grant-funded projects on spinal cord injury. Dr. Sikka is also an active member in national organizations for spinal cord injury including the Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals and the American Spinal Injury Association.

Dr. Sikka received her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma and completed her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She did a fellowship in spinal cord injury medicine at Harvard Medical School - Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital- West Roxbury VA Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. She worked at Clevland VA Hospital spinal cord injury unit prior to joining Baylor Scott & White Institute in Rehabilitation.
