Dr. Mukkamala specializes in spinal cord injury rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, spasticity management, brain injury rehabilitation and electrodiagnosis.

Dr. Sridevi Mukkamala is a physiatrist for outpatient services at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation. Board certified in physical medicine & rehabilitation, Spinal cord injury medicine, brain injury medicine and electrodiagnostic medicine. She focuses on the continuum of care for individuals with brain injury, spinal cord and neurologic injuries like stroke, spasticity management including Botulinum toxin injections.

Dr. Mukkamala received her medical degree from Andhra Medical College in India and completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Metro health medical center/Case Western reserve university program in Ohio. She did a fellowship in spinal cord injury medicine at Medical college of Wisconsin/VA program and worked at Rochester, NY prior before joining Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation.

Since she started working at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in 2010, Dr. Mukkamala served several roles including Director of OP services at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation and Director of IP rehabilitation at Baylor Scott & White Grapevine IP Rehabilitation while also maintaining a robust outpatient/clinic practice. She helped in planning and facilitating the opening of IP rehabilitation unit. She has over 20 years experience in outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation as well as consultative rehabilitation services with particular emphasis on neuro rehabilitation and spasticity management including botulinum toxin injections as well as long term follow-up of discharged Rehab inpatients.
