Patti Foster, TBI Survivor and Author

Patti is an urgent advocate of brain injury. She serves as Vice President of Hope After Brain Injury, is a member of the Texas Brain Injury Advisory Council and is Chairperson of the Services and Supports Committee. Patti is also a member of the North Texas TBI Model System Advisory Council, serves on the Brain Injury Association of America -Texas Division Strategic Planning Committee, and travels often as a speaker for Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Patti leans into life as an inspirational communicator and voice-over actor and strives to live her motto: M.A.D. Now! (Make A Difference Now!)

Stephanie Calhoun and Audrey Self are administrators of the Traumatic Brain Injury Peer Mentoring Program at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation, Dallas, Texas. They will introduce what is peer mentoring and how peer support can help with the journey after brain injury.  

 


 Packing a Purposeful Playlist

Chad Harmon, MA, MT-BC and Siobhan Kelley, MT-BC. Baylor Scott & White Health, Dallas, Texas. These two board-certified music therapists will share with you how to pack a “purposeful playlist” for your journey.
