Our flagship facility, Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation (BSWIR) – Dallas, is located on the Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) campus just east of downtown Dallas and is nationally ranked as one of the best rehabilitation hospitals by U.S. News & World Report.
Our Dallas hospital is one of only 10 hospitals in the country that is designated as both a Spinal Cord Injury Model System and a Traumatic Brain Injury Model System.
With 13 CARF-accredited programs, our Dallas location delivers specialized care and advanced treatment when and where you need it. From hospital to home, we provide a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services to help you on the road to better recovery.
We offer many specialized rehabilitation programs at our 92-bed Dallas hospital, including 24-hour respiratory care services. Your rehabilitation team will include board-certified physicians, certified rehabilitation registered nurses (CRRNs), licensed physical therapists, registered occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, certified recreation therapists and neuropsychologists.
Connected by tunnel to BUMC, our Dallas hospital also has access to advanced imaging, surgical services and over 600 specialists on staff at BUMC - many of which are consultants at BSWIR – Dallas.
