Acute care therapy
Acute care therapy is rehabilitation therapy that occurs within a general hospital setting. We provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and recreational therapy within Baylor Scott & White Medical Centers across North Texas. Inpatient rehabilitation
Following a life-changing injury or illness, inpatient rehabilitation can have a huge impact in maximizing your recovery. We treat patients with a variety of diagnoses, including complex traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, stroke and other neurological impairments, amputation and orthopedic conditions and injuries. Neuro Transitional rehabilitation
Specialized transitional care that provides patients with a home-like environment and 24/7 clinical care. Our Neuro Transitional Center will allow patients to bridge the gap between inpatient rehab and safely returning to their home. Learn more about our Neuro Transitional Centers here.
Day Neuro rehabilitation
For neuro patients who require a higher level of therapy, yet are still able to return home each night under the supervision of a caregiver. Our Day Neuro Program includes five and a half hours of therapy a day for several weeks. Learn more about our Day Neuro Program here.
Home Health services
Professional medical care in the comfort of your own home. We have a dedicated staff of nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists who strive to provide excellent care in a home setting. Our Home Health services are for patients who are home-bound and unable to go to therapy at one of our outpatient clinics. Learn more about our Home Health services here.
Outpatient therapy
We specialize in treating orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, neurological conditions and industrial medicine. Our licensed therapists utilize evidence-based therapy treatments, proven modalities and cutting-edge technologies to get you back to your life faster. Support groups
Our commitment to your recovery goes beyond your stay at one of our hospitals or treatment at one of our clinics. We provide resources and community involvement to former and current patients to help them lead a more independent life. Many of these groups are organized by our dedicated staff and former patients. We focus our physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) research on patients across our entire Continuum of Care. Through our large rehabilitation network our researchers utilize our diverse patient population to learn how to improve patient outcomes and implement those findings into our care.
