Regional Vice President
Fabian Polo served as the President of Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation from 2017 - 2022. He now oversees 11 rehabilitation hospitals across five states as a Regional Vice President. He earned his doctoral degree from Texas A&M University in 1992 in the field of Biomedical Engineering. He completed a two-year fellowship in 1994 at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He received his MBA from TWU in May 2009. Fabian first joined Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in the fall of 1996 as Research Director of the Orthopaedic Surgery Department. In January of 2007, he began serving as Director of Orthopaedics at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. In April of 2013, Dr. Polo was named CEO of Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Dallas and went on to be named the joint-venture's president in 2017. He also served the Baylor family in other roles, such as COO of Our Children’s House at Baylor and as Director of the Business Office for BUMC’s Department of Perioperative Services. During his career, he has worked at other leading organizations including Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
