Director of Rehabilitation Research

Simon Driver, PhD, is the Research Center Director for Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation and Ginger Murchison Endowed Chair in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Research. Dr. Driver is Project Director of the North Texas TBI Model System and Administrative Director of the BSW Spinal Cord Injury Model System. His research is focused on health promotion efforts for people with neurological disability, with an emphasis on cardiometabolic health. Dr. Driver’s research is supported by agencies such as the National Institute of Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research, National Institute of Health, Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute, and Department of Defense.
